The Cutty Sark Tall Ship race visited the Shetland Islands August 9 - 12, 1999. We have pictures taken every day by the famous photographer Charles Tait with a digital camera. The world has definitely gotten smaller as we had these pictures available to the WWW in a few hours after the event. Link to page two for the fireworks in the harbour and the tall ships leaving Lerwick is at the bottom of the page.
