Birding Scotland

By Kay Glasgow

This scrambled placename puzzle highlights Scotland as an extraordinary country for birdwatching. Each of scrambled placenames camouflages the family name of birds seen in the clue list, a wee flock of Scotland's birds. None of the bird name is scrambled in the placename answer. Example: robin runbdoin = Dunrobin. Regrettably, the Scottish crossbill, ptarmigan, capercaillie, corncrake, chough, petrel and many, many more birds of Scotland eluded this Scottish placename twitcher list.
