The atlas is still open with more of Scotland to discover! Find in consecutive letters the number of Scottish place names (municipalities, geographical features, etc.) indicated at the end of each sentence. Some letters in this puzzle are used more than once.

  1. Aly, the cook let ham (shankend bone, essential for flavor), carrot, apple and rhubarb make for plain simple fare for the hungry lawn party. (9)

  2. Al, Rick said that the cobbler with the peel of orange and Janie's new scones, the best Ron ever had eaten would make even ardent in nylon sewing tailors leap through a needle's eye for more. (10)

  3. Apprentice Mark inchin' down an inch more as contractor Reed pointed over owner Jock's shoulder to note that the missing inch meant the new house's seat on the crooked stair was an inch barely noticed but an inch Keith and an inch Michael had measured correctly. (13)
