Scotland Puzzle

Scottish Football Clubs

By Kay Glasgow

For centuries of Scottish history, soccer has been THE sport of Scotland. Mary, Queen of Scots was an avid spectator but a century earlier, James II in 1457 forbid any frolic at the fute-ball. He favoured archery for fighting the foes down south. The anagrams include most of the Scottish Premier League and a few teams of the Scottish Football Association. From early August to mid-May, fitba fans roar at these other traditional Scottish games. Listen to matches on Radio Scotland Online,
