Oiteag fhionnar trom Ie nuadhachd beatha,
s cungaidh-leighis i do gach euslaint,
cùbhraidh Ie bias geur nam meas liomain,
a' sainnsearachd chagairean blàth-chridheach
mu eunlaith is toraidhean fearainn,
a' cur spionnadh a dh'uilnean na fuar-thalmhainn
gu bruthadh gu h-uachdar
lusan is bileagan bha 'm bruaillean cadail
fo gheasaibh aig Righ na Reòtachd.

A cool breeze heavy with newness of life,
it is a balm for every sickness,
fragrant with the sharp taste of lemons,
whispering warm-hearted messages
about birds and the fruits of land,
strengthening the elbows of the cold ground
to press to its surface
herbs and shoots that were in a delirium of sleep
enchanted by the King of Frost.
