The Gaelic Poetry Nook will present poetry both in English and Gaelic.

Fein-Fhireantachd Selfrighteousness
Chan iarr iad 0rn ach
gal airhreachais peacaidh
nach buin dhomh
s' gu faigh mi saorsa
fhuadan nach tuig mi:
They ask of me only
to weep repentance for a sin
that does not concern me
and I shall get in return an alien
freedom I don't understand:,
ludaradh ann an uisge
an déidh uisge tana, guinteach
am feallsanachd ----
to be drubbed in one thin,
wounding water after another
of their philosophy ----
agus gun amharas chrochadh iad
an nigheadaireachd anns na nèamhan.
and confidently they would hang
their washing in the heavens.
