This photograph is by the property "caretaker" for the accommodation block of Stoer Head Lighthouse located in Sutherland in northern Scotland. David Stevenson and Thomas Stevenson were the engineers for this lighthouse which was built in 1870. It was automated in 1976. We celebrate when we know a lighthouse has found a someone to take special interest in it.
