Located near the southern entrance to Moray Firth on the northeast coast of Scotland near Lossiemouth, this 118 foot tall, white conical tower was designed by Alan Stevenson. Its light has a range of 20 (red) and 24 (white) nautical miles. The focal plane is 161 feet above sea level. The station was automated in 1984 but the beacon is still active today.
