Bass Rock lighthouse is located on an island lying 3 miles of North Berwick on the East Coast of Scotland. It was built in 1902 and the engineer was David A. Stevenson. It has a range of 21 miles and flashes 6 white every 30 seconds. The islands major inhabitants are thousands of gannets. The station was automated in 1988 and the keepers removed.
