From Eshaness Lighthouse by Sharma Krauskopf

Santa’s Wee Red Boat

I write a Christmas story just about every year for Lighthouse Digest magazine along with my regular column. Two years ago my thoughts were how would Santa come to a lighthouse. The story that resulted was "Santa's Wee Red Boat." As most of you know I am really fond of our caretaker's wee red boat which was where the idea came from. Here is the story. The picture you click into is very large so the text can be seen and you will need to move the slide bars to read.

Happy Holiday to One and All.

I have three books which are directly related to this column. The Last Lighthouse tells how we bought our lighthouse, the day by day journal of a year at Eshaness entitled A Year in the Lighthouse and in Scottish Lighthouses our lighthouse is featured in the 31 lighthouses presented. You can find out more about these books and others I have written at my official author web site.
