Hike To The Grind of Navir

The month of August I spent at Eshaness Lighthouse which we use to own in the Shetland Islands. It was cold and not very nice summer stay but we had a wonderful storm and some bright days. One of the really good days my husband, Dean and a friend hiked north of the lighthouse to the Grind of Navir. They said is was one of the best hikes ever. It is difficult to describe in words something like that but here are some pictures.

It just proves what I have always said Shetland's sea scapes are some of the most beautiful in the world.
