This Child

I really struggled with what I should share with you in this Holiday issue. Last night I was talking to Moria Kerr who has become a close and dear friend. She reminded me last year I had done a simple column on the words of "This Child" which is Scottish Radiance's Christmas song. The response to the story in its simplicity touched both Moira and I deeply. After much thought I decided to repeat the theme but this year with its own graphics. This is a Christian song. For those of you of other faiths I hope you enjoy it just for the beauty of the melody and Moira's performance. For those who are Christian I hope you understand the simple message High born or not we come from different lands and we should share our riches. Riches could just be an email to someone telling them you are thinking of them with a holiday wish or it could be giving some of your wealth to those from humble or bare circumstances. Please read and consider the words.

You will find the music in Real Audio here.

This Child
by Moira Kerr

Three wisemen came from countries a far.
The sky was full of light
They saw a brightly shining star
High above Bethlehem, high above Bethlehem that night.

Wise Men It brought them to a stable bare.
And through the dimness of the light
They saw a baby lying there.
They bowed their heads in prayer
They bowed their heads in prayer
That night.

And they brought mryth, frankincense, and gold
It is the greatest story ever told.
They laid such riches by him there
In his little stable so cold, so humble and so bare.

And these men the high born of their land
Who see such great and wondrous things.
This child all wrapped in swaddling bands
One day he would be, one day he would be,
King of kings.

And they brought mryth, frankincense, and gold
It is the greatest story ever told.
They laid such riches by him there
In his little stable so cold, so humble and so bare.

And they brought mryth, frankincense, and gold
It is the greatest story ever told.
They laid such riches by him there
In his little stable so cold, so humble and so bare.
