Each month we will be featuring a guest writer and this month's is Beth Kaminski. She lives in Okemos, Michigan in the USA with husband, Norbert who is on the faculty at Michigan State University; Maxx, a giant Labrador Retriever, and Jake and Elmo her two Zebra finches. She loves to cook, enjoys gardening including growing plants from seeds and is very gifted at hand crafts. Being a creative person she has been guiding readers to the virtual world's wonderful hidden information for a year in another weekly internet magazine. We are hoping she will be sharing her WWW adventures with us as often as she has time in the coming year. She is a very busy lady being employed with a video production company where she just started script writing.
We know you will enjoy her delightful safari into the virtual world.
I grew up in a family where one food was held sacred. I wouldn't say above all other foods but certainly was of major importance. On a cold winter weekend afternoon, we would make this cherished item. Then we would proceed to eat them all in very short order.
What is this delectable substance? Why cookies of course. I bet a bagful that my family can out eat yours.
Who could resist a site called 1-800-COOKIES. The Artful Cookie?
I know how about something useful, like recipes. How many chocolate chip cookierecipes can there be? Maybe we should just worry with the art of it all. You could make a different batch every week for a year from this list. Alright let's add one more. This should keep you busy.
THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I KNOW HOW NOT TO GAIN A POUND WITH COOKIES.
Close your eyes.
Concentrate hard now.
Focus on how those smells carried on the air from the oven in the kitchen. Come on try!
Maybe a little cinnamon or a little chocolate. Try harder.
Just sit still, remember, and enjoy your thoughts. I know you can do it........................
............................................................................. .......
Okay, enough, just how much flour is in pantry anyway. Don't I remember some brown sugar on the back of the shelf. Hey, only a short walk to the store. See ya!
You can contact her at Beth Kaminski. We would appreciate you letting her know if you like her guided safari so maybe she will do more.(You will find more articles by guest writers in the Archives.)
