Tir man Beann marks a welcome return to the recording studio for Norman MacKinnon, the well known Gaelic singer, following the success of his acclaimed debut album Tir a Mhurian in 1995. Norman, originally from Argyll but not based in Glasgow won the Gold Medal at the 1994 National Mod. The songs on this CD are from Barra, Lewis, Skye, Argyll and Tiree.
