Celtic Christmas II

Windham Hill has almost every year done a Celtic Christmas collection. The mood of all the CDs is soft and soothing. I love to sit by my window watching the birds with this beautiful music in the backgroun all during the holiday season. The selection chose is by Phil Cunningham and Manus Lunny gets its name for a well know spot in Scotland where you can watch bottlenose dolphins. The song laments the plight of a young killer whale who was orphaned by indiscriminate killing whaling practices. You can almost hear the whales cry in the music.
