For many years the Cullivoe Band has been a popular dance band in the Shetland Islands, and throughout the Isles they have played at at dances, weddings, and concerts. They have been featured on BBC's "Take the Floor" dance show. Willie Hunter one of the Shetland's premier fiddlers was member of the band for seven or eight years. Willie wanted the band to record an album. So on January 14, 1994 they did. Willie passed away on January 27, 1994 so this album is his last performance and a great one. It showcases what makes Shetland and its fiddlers so well known in the music of Scotland.
