| Once again Ian Rankin takes us on an exciting adventure into the crime in Edinburgh. Inspector Rebus gets involved in a missing person case with is not even on his patch because the boy's father who is a friend from his childhood asks him to look into it. The boy disappeared at a night club in Kirkcaldy. The only evidence Rebus has is a blurred security video of him just before he disappeared. The investigation leads to big time gambling, a Hibs striker and finally to the top man in the Edinburgh underworld. The seventy three pages of this book are filled with excitement and a superb read. | ![]() |
