Beginners Guide to Scots Gaelic

An audio tape and printed guide together give all the information, explanations, translations and examples you will need to begin to learn Scots Gaelic. The guide is organized in sections, progressing from the easier to the more difficult material. Each section stresses a single component of the language. It is best to follow the sections in sequence since they build on one another.

The tape gives the pronunication of all the Gaelic words and sentences referred to in the guide. After a short pause in which you repeat them, they are given again to let you hear the correct pronunication once more. The end of each section is indicated by a few bars of harp music You will also hear beautiful Gaelic music to demonstrate the language and sound.
