Everyone who loves lighthouse particularly Scottish lighthouses should include this book in their library. I spent an entire day reading late into the night when this book arrived. I simply could not put it down. The book includes a map of the location of all the Scottish lighthouses which is a real plus if you want to go see them. The most significant aspect of the book is the photographs and stories on the various lighthouse stations.

The book's photography and text was done by Keith Allardyce. This entire book of 126 pages is beautiful pictures and stories about various lighthouses and the support equipment necessary to keep them operating like ships and helicopters. 75 lighthouse stations are covered in this book. It is divided by location. The divisions are west coast, Isle of Man, east coast, north coast, the Orkneys, and the Shetland. It is an incredibly beautiful book.
